About Me
Hi, I’m Pooja Puthran
My journey as a designer began very early in life. My parents often tell me how fascinated I was with visuals in the books and magazines, that I would keep flipping pages till they tore. In school, art and craft were always my favourite subjects. I loved drawing so much that I often created diagrams for my classmates journals, helping them score better grades. During college, studying Cinema and Psychology deepened my understanding of storytelling, visual communication, and human behaviour all of which continue to influence my design approach today. Creativity has always been at the center of everything I do.
After graduation, I joined my first company as an intern, and that’s when I knew design was the career I truly wanted to pursue. Over the past two decades, I’ve had the opportunity to work across design studios, agencies, and product companies, each shaping me in different ways. Agency life taught me to think creatively and push visual boundaries, while product design helped me focus deeply on users, problem-solving, and business impact.
Today, I enjoy creating thoughtful, user-centered experiences that simplify complexity and solve real problems. I’m passionate about continuous learning, collaboration, and contributing meaningful design solutions while genuinely enjoying the process along the way. Apart from design, I love gardening, music, and traveling to new places. These experiences often inspire fresh perspectives and influence the way I approach design.

Strengths & Values
Observe
I find inspiration in the smallest things. A plant by the window, a bird in motion, or patterns in nature often lead to fresh ideas and perspectives.
Quick Learner
Being a quick learner has helped me adapt and grow through every stage of life. I especially enjoy learning languages and exploring different cultures.
Empathy
Kindness and empathy are often underestimated, yet they shape the way we work and grow. I believe thoughtful work comes from understanding people deeply and giving back to the community.
Believe & Dream
It may sound cliche, but I truly believe dreams keep you curious and belief keeps you moving forward both in work and in life.
